I can boost the health of my houseplants too!

I don’t have a lot of houseplants but the few I have start to get a little faded in the Seattle winter. Here’s a tip I found to naturally boost your houseplants.

**Mix 2 Tablespoons of dry oatmeal into each plant’s soil.

Oatmeal contains minerals like iron and phosphorous that nourish plants and help them thrive. It says to repeat it monthly to keep them green and healthy.  You can also add a few drops of essential oils such as Citronella, Lavandin, Lemongrass, Myrtle, Rosemary, or Tea Tree. I use a blend that has all of these called Purification.  Great in a fresh bouquet of flowers to keep them lasting longer.
