My 4 Must-Have Supplements
Have you wondered which supplements you should be taking?  Here are 5 categories that I think are the most important (and of course my recommendations with Young Living). I'd much rather be in the "right" line (picture).

Supplements? Vitamins? There are only a billion options out there! Where do you even start? My answer to you is to do your research, go to a source you trust, and then research some more.  This industry is not as regulated as you might think.  For me it was Young Living.  I’ve have been using a variety of their supplements for most of my 7 years with Young Living.

Once you learn more about these supplements, you will be able to pick the ones that make the most sense for your lifestyle and needs. Everyone responds differently. You may notice a difference in a week or it may take a few months. Be patient and be consistent for 3-4 months and you WILL feel a difference.

But first, let’s talk about Bioavailability.  What is that?   It is the absorption rate and how well your body can use a supplement as nutrients.  Young Living supplements have an 80% absorption rate compared to more conventional supplements which are at about 30%.

Here’s are my 5 most important categories:

Master Formula:  This packet contains four separate supplements.  These little pills provide complete support to help naturally support general health and well-being for the body. They include antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and other food-based nutrients that are easy for your body to absorb and utilize. Combined, they promote healthy cell regeneration and support your gut (digestive system) to in turn support balanced emotions, brain, heart, eye, liver, immune, joint health, and total body wellness.

Immunity Support:  My favorite supplement for immunity support is called Inner Defense.  It is made with Oregano, Thyme, and Thieves essential oils to reinforce systemic defenses, promote healthy respiratory function, and offer immune support. This supplement also creates unfriendly terrain for yeast and fungus, two nasties in our systems.  One capsule a day or just when you start to feel a little down

Enzymes:  If you aren’t eating a lot of kefir, bananas, soy sauce, pineapples, avocados, bee pollen, papayas, sauerkraut, miso, kiwi, or tempeh (Whew!), you might need to consider adding some enzymes.  Without them, you wouldn’t be able to breath, swallow, drink, eat, or digest your food. Our body slows down production as we age and supplementation just makes sense. Check out Young Livings Enzyme products.  My favorite is Essentialzyme 4.

Probiotic:  You know a healthy gut is probably the most important part of overall good health.  Probiotics introduce live bacteria and yeast to balance and create healthy gut flora.  Life 9 is Young Living’s probiotic.  It combines 17 billion (yup BILLION) live cultures from nine beneficial bacteria strains to promote healthy digestion, support gut health, and help maintain normal intestinal function and a healthy immune system.

Foundation - Vitamin B Complex, C and D:  You might also consider a multivitamin but be sure to research. Many of these try to do too much and either don’t give you enough of any one vitamin or they are poor quality and little bioavailable to your body.  Young Living has all three separately.

And there are so many more to address specific issues.   We have several supplements for joint, bone, and muscle support, collagen (marine sources), specific digestive support.  If you have a specific need or question, drop me a message and we can see if there is something that might work for you.  I truly believe that these are the highest quality of supplementation that I have used and I hope you will find that as well.

PRO TIP:   I have to tell you about a couple deals going on at YL until the end of the month.
